Return to "Using Email on Virtual Hosts"If you are utilizing the virtual host technology in your VDS account and wish to set up the Email Defense service, you will need to add your virtual host domains as aliases in the Email Defense system so that mail service for these domains is not interrupted.
Important Note: When you add your first email defense user, all of the virtual hosts that you have active at that time are added to the service. Please follow these instructions if you add additional virtual hosts in the future. From the customer manager click on My Products, then View Details for your VDS product.
Click on the Manage Email Defense Users icon.
Click on the Manage Domain Aliases.
Click
Enter the domain name of your virtual host in the text box.
If you have multiple virtual hosts or parked domains in use on your VDS hosting account, you will need to add each domain. Once these domains are added, mail will be allowed through the email defense filter to your VDS for the specified addresses.
