Understanding RSS and Syndication

One of the most useful features of blogs are “RSS Feeds” or “Syndicated Feeds”. An RSS feed is a copy of your blog that is readable by special software and websites, known as RSS feed readers or aggregators. The Weblog ValueApp automatically creates an RSS feed of your entries and updates it whenever you add a new post.

Your viewers can click on the “RSS” link at the bottom of your Weblog pages to add your blog to their RSS aggregator. This will automatically notify them whenever you update your weblog, and allows them to easily keep track of multiple blogs at once.

The Weblog ValueApp also creates an RSS feed of your comments, which is linked at the bottom of all Weblog pages. By adding this feed to their RSS aggregator, your visitors will be able to keep track of comments and discussions in your blog.
