Payment Processing Errors and Issues

Miva Merchant interfaces directly with your payment gateway to process credit card and online check transactions. If you have any problems with setting up your payment provider, first contact Jumpline.com Support to be sure that you have the newest version of Miva Merchant installed on your account.

If you have the newest version installed and continue to have problems, contact your payment provider for further assistance; many payment providers must activate your account for production before it can be used to actually process payments (as opposed to testing mode). You can use the following information to test your payment setup; simply create a fake order inside of Miva and check out using one of the following card numbers:

Visa: 4111111111111111
MasterCard: 5105105105105100
American Express: 378734493671000
Discover: 6011111111111117

Use any expiration date in the future; if the card comes back with a message saying that it was declined, then the transaction made it to your payment provider without any problems. If you receive any other error, please contact them for further assistance.
