Return to "FAQ"Jumpline.com provides a simple Webmail interface that you can use to check your email from any computer. This interface is perfect for when you are away from your home or office computer and need to send a quick message or are awaiting an important contact. Webmail can be installed from the VDS Manager and used with any email account that you currently have active.
To get started with Webmail:
Log in to your VDS Manager by clicking the ‘Login to VDS Manager’ link from the Products page of the Customer Manager, which is located at https://my.jumpline.com.
Click on Install & Manage on the left side
Click on the
Web Applications folder at the top of the page
Click on
Webmail under the Available ValueApps section on the left
Click the Agree button to agree to the free software license.
Click
to install Webmail.
To login to the Webmail client, enter the URL: http://www.yoursitedomain.com/mail/ into your web browser, replacing yoursitedomain.com with your website domain name. You will be prompted for an email username and password; the email username is the portion before the @ in your email address, and the password is one that you selected when creating your email account.
The first time that you login, you will be prompted to configure Webmail by setting your name (as it will appear on messages you send), your time zone, and other basic options. Click Save, then click on Return to Inbox at the top to list the messages in your inbox. Webmail works like Outlook or any other PC email client, where you can use the toolbar at the top to create messages, manage your address book, and check for new email.
