cPanel and Plesk Server Reboots

At this time we are rebooting cPanel and Plesk servers to install important security updates provided by Red Hat. We appreciate your patience in this matter and will be updating this post with details on what servers are being / have been rebooted.

cp02 through cp06: Currently being rebooted. *Update 4:20PM:*  Reboot completed successfully.

cp07, cp09, cp10: Currently being rebooted. *Update 4:25PM:*  Reboot completed successfully.

cp11 through cp15: Currently being rebooted. *Update 4:35PM:*  Reboot completed successfully.

cp16 through cp20: Currently being rebooted. *Update 4:50PM:*  Reboot completed successfully.

cp21 through cp25: Currently being rebooted. *Update 5:00PM:*  Reboot completed successfully.

cp08 Maintenance

At this time, cPanel server cp08 is undergoing maintenance to correct possible filesystem inconsistencies, which should take about 90 minutes. We appreciate your patience while we work to restore service to the customers on this server. Thank you.

ps04 Reboot

ps04 is currently in the process of rebooting for maintenance purposes. We appreciate your patience in this matter.

*Update 9:10pm:* Maintenance has been concluded; this server had been giving unusual filesystem errors so we wanted to verify the filesystem integrity with a complete filesystem check. No issues were found.

cp01 Reboot

cPanel server cp01 has just stopped responding and is giving kernel errors. We are rebooting the server and will perform a filesystem check to prevent future errors. Thank you for your patience.

vz01 Reboot

We are currently in the process of rebooting vz01 to install kernel updates.

cp21 Reboot

At this time our engineers are rebooting the cp21 server to resolve responsiveness issues that it is been experiencing.

cp32 Drive Replacement

At this time we are rebooting server cp32 to replace a drive that has started giving unexpected SCSI errors. We are doing this now to prevent the possibility of data loss; the work should take less than 1 hour, after which no further issues are expected.

ps28 Plesk Panel

Users on ps28 are currently unable log into their Plesk administration panel. This is currently our top priority and will be resolved as soon as possible.

*Update 2/16 7:00am:* We apologize for the long delay. Parallels, the makers of the Plesk panel, have identified a rare bug in their software which was causing the panel to become inoperable. A fix has been installed and no further issues are expected.

ps11 reboot

Sphera server sd17 has stopped responding; our engineers are now reviewing the server and will have it back online soon.

ps23 Reboot

At around 5:00am EST, ps23 was taken down for reasons related to yesterday's updates. As of 5:30am, all services on this machine have been resumed and maintenance is concluded. Thank you for your patience.

ps06 Mailserver Restart

At this time we are rebuilding the mail routing database on ps06 to resolve an issue with mail being delayed; this will take a few minutes, after which mail service will be restored. Thank you for your patience.

*Update 2:04pm* The reboot is finished, and we are now working on the remaining issues.

Sphera Reboots

At this time we will be rebooting the Sphera servers to install the latest kernel release for added security and stability. We expect each server to only take approximately ten to fifteen minutes to fully reboot. We appreciate your patience in this matter.

*Update 9:40AM:*  sd02 through sd05 have successfully been rebooted and is back to normal working order.

*Update 9:55AM:*  sd06 through sd10 have successfully been rebooted and is back to normal working order.

*Update 10:15AM:*  sd11 through sd15 have successfully been rebooted and is back to normal working order.

*Update 10:30AM:*  sd16 through sd20 have successfully been rebooted and is back to normal working order.

*Update 10:55AM:*  sd21 through sd25 have successfully been rebooted and is back to normal working order.

*Update 11:05AM:*  sd26 through sd30 have successfully been rebooted and is back to normal working order.

*Update 12:20PM:*  sd51 through sd55 have successfully been rebooted and is back to normal working order.

This concludes the maintenance on all Sphera servers.

cp21 Reboot

At this time we are installing important kernel updates on server cp21. The server is currently experiencing some issue booting normally and we will be performing maintenance on it to restore it to normal working order. We expect the server to be back online between in approximately one hour. We appreciate your patience in this matter.
